| In 1997, RMHC
of the Central Valley was looking for a corporate donor to kick
off a capital campaign to build a new Ronald McDonald House to be
located next to the new Children's Hospital of Central California.
Pledging to raise $250,000 between 1997 and the year 2000, the car
drawing exceeded everyone's expectations as $675,000 was raised.
By the time the RMHC of the Central Valley opened it's doors in
February of 2001, the car campaign raised more than one-million
dollars and actually accounted for 54% of the total cost of the
20,000 square foot facility.
The Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Central Valley, Inc.
would like to thank each and every one of you who have entered the
drawing over the years. If it wasn't for your participation, none
of this would have been possible.
