Squeeky Clean - Saturday, April 1st, 2006

The RMHC® of the Central Valley held its Annual Spring Clean Up Day
& Garage Sale on Saturday, April 1st. The day kicked off early morning
with a garage sale beginning from 7am-11am put on by CSUF students. Items
such as household, electronics, computer monitors, accessories, toys,
and books sold for a donation. Immediately following the garage sale,
volunteers enjoyed a continental breakfast provided by Albertson’s
and Food Maxx.
The clean up began at 9:00am with over 75 volunteers from the community
including CSUF Fraternities & Sororities. Groups performed duties
such as window cleaning, maintenance, yard work, sweeping & mopping,
dusting, sanitizing, trash pickup and organizing files. Bissel Company
donated all the cleaning supplies including t-shirts for the volunteers.
The day concluded with a BBQ lunch provided by CSUF Marketing Students.
Everyone enjoyed hotdogs and hamburgers for a hard day’s work. Special
thanks to the following organizations for helping RMHC® of the Central
Valley, Inc. maintain a healthy clean House!
