Since the beginning of July
I like to volunteer and I wanted to find somewhere I could help people
beyond Fresno and Madera. I enjoy the fact that
the staff are always friendly and patient when you have questions.
I am most proud of knowing that I am helping families in their time
of need.
Some of the staff might know this, but the majority don’t know
I have a crazy sense of humor and I’m fun to be around.

I had heard the need for volunteers through the Fresno Bee and the
volunteer-a-thon on TV. Being new to the area - I thought it would
be a great way to get involved in the community The friendly
environment, the spirit of helping the families is present in all
the staff. Being able to help the families feel comfortable
during their stay here. I also enjoy helping the office with “chores”
– to make their job a little easier. That I’m taking a Spanish class to help
me communicate more with the RMHC guests! Mexican Food! Blue

Ronald McDonald House was listed in the Fresno Bee as an organization
that needed volunteers, so I called to help. Interacting
with the staff and helping with the car raffle. Being able to meet family
needs and being helpful to the staff. I take tap dancing and yoga classes.
