Front Desk/ Tuesdays & Thursdays
2 months.
I retired from public health nursing and wanted to volunteer where
I could continue to contribute to the health of children and offer
support to families.
Meeting families and assisting the staff in meeting
the family’s needs in a peaceful home setting. I always look
forward to working with the staff—my new friends!
I am proud in my small role to be part of the McDonald’s family.
My son, Chris, works in McDonald’s Oakbrook office and he has
often discussed with me the social responsibility of McDonald’s
all over the world.
Others might be surprised to know that I made nursing home visits
alone in a neighborhood that police go with backup!
